I simply loved to make cards. I am constantly learning new techniques, trying new products and different mediums. All this with one goal in mind … creating beautiful cards that are special and unique.
The remainder of this page highlights the cards that I made in 2026. Enjoy!
Card Making is my Passion
Winter
Swirls and Curls Thanks
Every January I design a Thank You card. After the holiday season it just feels natural to create a card that expresses gratitude. This card gives happiness vibes with the dancing swirls and curls. I love watercolors and although I didn’t need to break out my brushes this card does have a watercolor component that creates a beautiful soft blue green by mixing different shades of blue with a vibrant yellow.

You Melt My Heart
I went playful for this “Valentine’s Day” card design. Instead of an elegant card I chose fun images with happy colors. The color theme allows for this card to have a range of recipients. It can be given to a friend, a child, sibling, as well as the love of your life. All of the red on this card is foiled. Providing just the right amount of shine. Since I used foil to create all of the images on this card, I have left over negative foil images. I then use the leftover foil to create an alternate card (see card on the left).

Hummingbird Condolence
I first designed the hummingbird. It was an experiment in color and texture. At the same time, I was getting ready to design my annual sympathy card. Most sympathy cards have a dark somber color theme – respectful. This card is different. The coloring of this hummingbird gives it an ethereal feel. By placing it on a white background with gold trim it is meant to generate a feeling of comfort.

Ginger Jars
This is a good card to remind a person that they are special. Its neutral design allows you to send it to a male or female friend. The color layering mixed with the gold accents keep the interest of the recipient. The sentiment along with the gold says you are special to me. The message inside solidifies friendship. You can use this card as a birthday card or a “thinking of you” card. Personally, I think you should send this to a special friend just because. Let them know how special they are to you. It is never a bad idea to reach out and show someone love..

Birthday Fishes
The rainbow colors and circle shape makes this a perfect birthday card for a young child. However, it could also be used for an older person with a young heart and for anyone with an affinity for fish.

Dragonfly Skies
There is something magical about dragonflies. They remind me of fairies and enchanted forests from my favorite childhood stories. When I saw the die and foil set of the dragonfly I grabbed it. I remembered a technique that I learned years ago that would provide the sky perfect for this special creature. This card really made me nostalgic for a simpler time. The sentiment I choose for the interior of the card, “Spread your wings and Fly!”, pairs perfectly with the Dragonfly. Sent this card to a friend that needs encouragement.

Sending Loving Thoughts
Not all wedding cards are hearts and lace. Sometimes it can be simple and natural. This card was made special for a friend to give to her nephew. All I had was the “Save the Date” card which inspired the color and theme. The interior included the following sentiment “May the God of love be the heart of your marriage, the light of your home, and the ever-present partner in your new life together”

Wedding Wishes
This card was a special order for a friend who niece was married in Pakistan. I wanted the card to reflect the spirit of the wedding which is different than the wedding cards I usually make.

Bridal Shower
One of my favorite things to do when designing cards is to incorporate different stamp sets into a design. I was asked to make a card for a Bridal Shower with the sentiment “Welcome to the Family”. I looked through my stash for wedding, love, shower, engagement themes and I was able to build a shower card that I was pretty proud of.

Lake Wedding Card
I make a lot of cards; I love designing, going into production mode, but mostly I like giving them away. For most cards I can make multiple copies for a large distribution. But some cards require a personal touch. Wedding cards fall into this category. When I do make wedding cards, I look to the couple for clues that can be used for the wedding card. Clues like wedding colors, personality, or personal stories. In my opinion, the card should speak to the couple. I have never duplicated a wedding card…until now.
